Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between title case and sentence case?

Title case capitalizes the first letter of every word, as in "The Quick Brown Fox", and suits headings. Sentence case only capitalizes the first word of each sentence, as in "The quick brown fox", which reads more naturally in body text.

How do I remove duplicate lines from a list?

Paste the list into Input Text, open the Formatting tab and click Remove Duplicates. Each line is kept once, in its original order, which is handy for cleaning email lists, keywords or log output. Click Sort Lines afterwards if you want it alphabetized.

Can I use regular expressions?

Yes. On the Regex tab, enter a Regex Pattern and a replacement, then click Apply Regex. Matching is global and ignores case unless you tick Case sensitive, and you can reuse captured groups in the replacement with $1, $2 and so on.

Is my text sent to a server?

No. Every action runs in your browser, so your text stays on your device while you work. We only log basic usage details, such as which action you used and the text length, not the text itself.
