Frequently asked questions

Is the wheel really random?

Yes. When you spin, the winner is picked with your browser's random number generator, giving every option the same chance, and the animation then lands on that slice. Removing winners between spins turns it into a draw without repeats, like pulling names from a hat.

Will my options be saved?

Yes, in your own browser. The list is stored locally on your device, so it is still there when you come back, but it does not sync to other devices and clearing your browser data removes it. Click Clear All to start fresh.

How many options can I add?

There is no set limit, but the wheel needs at least two options to spin. Slices get thinner as the list grows and long labels are shortened on the wheel itself, so short names read best, though the full text still shows in the list and the winner announcement.

What can I use a spinning wheel for?

Picking a raffle or giveaway winner, deciding who goes first, calling on students in class, choosing where to eat or handing out chores. It works anywhere you want a quick, fair pick that everyone can watch happen.
