Frequently asked questions

What is an elevator pitch?

An elevator pitch is a short summary of who you are, what problem you solve and why it matters, brief enough to deliver in 30 to 60 seconds. A strong one names the problem, describes your solution clearly and ends with a clear ask or next step.

How long should an elevator pitch be?

Aim for 30 to 60 seconds when spoken, which is roughly 75 to 150 words. If an accelerator, competition or event sets a limit, enter it under Institutional Requirements and the feedback will check your pitch against it.

Does it rewrite my pitch for me?

It gives feedback rather than a finished rewrite: how well you follow a problem-then-solution structure, how clear and memorable the message is, whether you meet your requirements, and specific suggestions. You stay in control of the wording.

Is my pitch stored?

Your pitch and context are sent to our server and passed to an AI model to generate feedback. Our usage analytics also keep a short preview, up to the first 200 characters of your pitch and 100 of your business context.
