  • Select the target programming language for your schema
  • The tool will analyze your data and generate an appropriate schema
  • Supported languages include TypeScript, JSON Schema, Python, Java, C#, Go, Rust, Kotlin, Swift, and PHP
  • For best results, provide well-structured data or clear descriptions

About this tool

Convert data structures to properly typed schemas in your preferred programming language. Perfect for developers working with APIs, data validation, and type safety. Supports TypeScript, JSON Schema, Python, Java, C#, Go, Rust, Kotlin, Swift, and PHP. Simply paste your data or structure description and get appropriately typed schema definitions following language conventions and best practices. Streamline your development workflow by automatically generating accurate type definitions for better code quality and reduced errors.

How to use the Schema Generator

  1. Paste sample data, such as a JSON object, or a plain description into Input Data.
  2. Choose a Target Language, such as TypeScript Interface, JSON Schema or Go Struct.
  3. Click Generate Schema and wait a few seconds for the result.

Frequently asked questions

What is a schema?

A schema describes the shape of your data: which fields exist, their types, and which are nested or optional. In code it might be a TypeScript interface, a Go struct or a Python class, while JSON Schema is a language-neutral standard used to validate JSON documents.

Which languages can it generate?

From the same input you can generate a TypeScript interface, JSON Schema, Python class, Java class, C# class, Go struct, Rust struct, Kotlin data class, Swift struct or PHP class. Pick one from the Target Language menu before you generate.

Is the generated schema always correct?

The schema is written by an AI model, so treat it as a strong first draft. It infers types from your sample, which means a field that is sometimes null or missing in real data may come back too strict. Review it before relying on it.

Is my data sent to a server?

Yes. An AI model writes the schema, so your input is sent to OpenTools' server and on to the model provider to produce it. Use sample or anonymized data rather than real customer records, passwords or other secrets.

Do I need an account?

No. The schema generator is free and works without signing in. Requests are rate-limited per visitor to keep the service available, so a burst of rapid generations may be turned away for up to a minute.
